Parents/Guardians Ref: INK/003
Aġenzija Sapport, through the INK project, will be conducting a number of training sessions for parents and guardians of persons with disability.

During these training sessions INK trainers provide a setting in which participants have the chance to share and discuss common concerns among other parents. They are also given information about the INK project and the ways in which it caters for the transition process of persons with disability entering the workforce. In addition, discussions on communication and stress and burnout issues, which are regularly faced by parents themselves, are tackled. Parents or guardians are also provided with information on existing support services available to them.

The duration of this training is only 6 hours, split between 2 sessions of 3 hours each. A certificate of attendance will be given to those who attend both sessions. These sessions are free of charge.
This parent training is not only open to parents of participants undergoing INK training, but also to any parent or guardian of a person with disability who would like to know more information on the inclusion of persons with disability in the workforce and ease any concern he or she might have in this regard.

We encourage parents and guardians of persons with disability to apply by sending an email on or by calling on 2256 8000 and asking for the INK project. More information regarding this project can be attained from our Facebook Page – INKprojectmalta, or from the Agency’s website,
