NGO Service

The NGO Service within Aġenzija Sapport is responsible for the implementation and management of Public Social Partnership (PSP) contracts between Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO) and the Ministry for Inclusion, Voluntary Organisations and Consumer Rights (MIVC). The service is targeted towards individuals with disabilities and their families who are at risk of burnout, or in emergency situations.

The Agency carries out this responsibility mainly through the regular monitoring of the service and the determination of the level of support that is provided to the service users who benefit from the PSP agreements. Apart from the monitoring aspect, Aġenzija Sapport is also responsible for admissions of new service users, completing assessments, and the financial processing in relation to the service users within the NGO residences and other services.

The NGO department is currently responsible for the monitoring of 17 PSP contracts of which 13 are residential homes, 1 respite service, 1 independent living home and 2 day services.
