A safe and empowering space for mothers to connect, share experiences and build confidence.
AIM
To provide a safe, supportive, and empowering space for mothers who may benefit from additional support in their parenting role.
This support group will:
- Create opportunities for mothers to share experiences, challenges, and successes with others in similar situations.
- Build confidence in their parenting abilities and decision-making.
- Strengthen parenting skills to support the wellbeing and development of their child with a disability.
- Encourage the development of meaningful social connections and peer support networks.
- Provide access to relevant information, guidance, and resources.
- Promote the emotional wellbeing and resilience of participating mothers.
- Foster a sense of community, understanding, and mutual support among group members.
These groups are free of charge and are led by professionals.
HOW TO APPLY
Participants may be referred to this support group by professionals within the Agency or by other professionals involved in their care and support.
