Aġenzija Sapport facilitates group sessions for children who have a sibling with a disability.

Through age-appropriate play and activities, children and adolescents will have the opportunity to share their experience of having a sibling with a disability – being it positive situations and also challenges they face. Sessions provide them with an opportunity to feel understood and appreciated whilst having fun within a safe group.

AIMS

The Super Sibs group will allow children and adolescents to:

  • Meet other brothers and sisters of persons with disability
  • Have fun
  • Talk with others who “get it” about the good (and sometimes not so good) parts of having a sibling with a disability
  • Be supported in seeking assistance when they need it
  • Have some more fun!

These groups are free of charge and are led by professionals.
