Aġenzija Sapport requires the service of full-time Executive III (Support Executives) on an indefinite contract basis. The starting annual basic salary for the current year is €24,418 with annual increments. Selected candidates may also be eligible for allowances, depending on the service the candidate is selected for, and other criteria as established in the Agency’s Collective Agreement.

 

OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE

Various departments within the Agency require the assistance of Support Executives. Thus, the role may require the selected candidates to perform either administrative duties, or duties with service users, or a combination of both. The duties may involve the following:

 

  • Assisting in the coordination and running of the Agency’s services in which s/he is assigned to provide the necessary support to service users. The person shall ensure that the service provided to service users addresses emerging needs in a proper and professional manner. This key post may entail frontline duties with service users exhibiting behaviour of concern and/or specific needs in their day-to-day requirements. The person may also be required to participate in a 24/7 On-Call Service and be willing and available to participate in initiatives taking place, which at times may be held outside normal office hours and during weekends.

 

  • On the other hand, the person might be required to perform duties of a more administrative nature. Such duties call for candidates having the necessary skills to conduct assessments of cases referred and plan and implement programmes, as required. It might also include setting up boards, professional appointments and processing applications received from service users. The above would be carried out through liaison with service users and other entities/professionals involved.

REQUISITES

  • Eligible candidates shall possess a relevant degree at MQF Level 6 (180-240 ECTS) or higher.

     

    Preference will be given to candidates who are able to communicate in both Maltese and English, as well as those who have followed psychology credits, to the benefit of the service users.

     

    Candidates who are in their final year of studies will still be considered provided that they submit evidence that they have been approved for the award of the qualifications in question, or successfully completed the necessary ECTS credits or equivalent, taken as part of a recognised MQF level programme of study, as required in the aforementioned eligibility criteria or higher, by the end of the current year. Such candidates will be offered a junior position until the official qualification is obtained;

     

    Candidates who are in possession of the above qualifications at MQF Level 6, in addition to three (3) years’ relevant experience in the social field will be placed on Grade C. Candidates who are in possession of the above qualifications at MQF Level 7, in addition to two (2) years’ experience in the social field will also be placed on Grade C. The starting annual salary for 2025 in Grade C is that of €27,533 with annual increments;

     

    Candidates who are in possession of the above qualifications at MQF Level 6, in addition to eight (8) years’ experience in the social field will be placed on Grade B. Candidates who are in possession of the above qualifications at MQF Level 7, in addition to six (6) years’ experience in the social field will also be placed on Grade B. The starting annual salary for 2025 in Grade B is that of €30,407 with annual increments.

     

    Applicants in possession of a foreign qualification/s are to produce with their application, a recognition statement on comparability of qualifications issued by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA).
